Description Job Summary: We seek a kind, enthusiastic, and experienced researcher at the Research Assistant Level II. We are a fun group with the research focus being the interactions between the microbes and the host at metabolic levels. Responsibilities of the sought position include data generation, method development and optimization, and general laboratory organization and ordering. Strong background in molecular genetics, animal work, and excellent computer skills are required. Experience in animal husbandry will be preferred. Under moderate supervision, set up, conduct experiments, and continue research projects following protocols including the appropriate recording of data and reporting of standard or variant results.
