Medical Instrument Technician (Diagnostic Ultrasound) - Part-Time
As a Medical Instrument Technician (Diagnostic Ultrasound) in the Imaging section, the incumbent performs noninvasive examinations involving the application of high frequency ultrasound to humans for diagnosis of disease. The sonographer is regarded as the expert source in ultrasound imaging and the interpreting radiologist relies on the skills, knowledge, and abilities of the sonographer in providing a final interpretation.
