Position Summary: We have an exciting opportunity to join our team as a Anesthesia Tech II; Per Diem; Saturday or Sunday; 6AM-2PM or 2PM-10PM.
In this role, the successful candidate Under the supervision of the OR Technical Coordinator or Lead Anesthesia Technician, performs duties to include, but not limited to, maintaining and stocking of supplies, equipment and drugs.
Job Responsibilities:
Under the supervision of the OR Technical Coordinator or Lead Anesthesia Technician, performs duties to include, but not limited to, maintaining and stocking of supplies, equipment and drugs.
AM anesthesia machine preparation.
Forms collation.
Peds cart and anesthesia machine/monitor set up.
A-line set up.
Laryngoscope collection, distribution, and clean up.
AM start up requests.
PCA Accounting.
Ensures timely fill-up of anesthesia carts and room turnover.
Troubleshoots malfunctioning equipment and reports action taken to Technical Coordinator.
Minimum Qualifications:
Associates Degree or HS diploma and certification from ASATT or ATA
Two years of work experience in a periop area or related field
Familiarity with Operating Room drug and equipment terminology required
Preferred Qualifications:
Associates Degree preferred

NYU Langone Health provides a salary range to comply with the New York City Law on Salary Transparency in Job Advertisements. The salary range for the role is $34.90 - $37.38 Hourly. Actual salaries depend on a variety of factors, including experience, specialty, education, and hospital need.
