Supervisory Medical Instrument Technician (EKG)
The Supervisory Medical Instrument Technician (EKG) is an essential member of the Cardiology Department within the Nursing Service. The duties in this position include coordinating, supervising, as well as operating and monitoring diagnostic instruments and equipment associated with cardiac monitoring and testing. The Supervising MIT (EKG) at this level operates and monitors electrocardiographic equipment to perform specialized examinations and studies involving exercise stress testing.
