Endoscopy Technician
Overview The Indiana Endoscopy Center is an outpatient surgery center located at West Hospital in Avon, Indiana. The surgery center has three fully equipped, technologically advanced procedure rooms where Endoscopists perform gastroenterology procedures including: colonoscopy, upper endoscopy, flexible sigmoidoscopy. This is a PRN position.Endoscopy Technicians provide service and support before, during and after endoscopic procedures. Ensures the presence and proper arrangement of equipment and supplies in the endoscopy room prior to each procedure, assists the physician during the endoscopic procedure as allowed by professional and legal standards, cleans the endoscope after the procedure and expedites room turnover.
