SALARY AND BENEFITS:
The posted salary range represents the minimum to the midpoint within RVU’s compensation plan. RVU’s full compensation structure provides a minimum to a maximum range. The salary of the finalist(s) selected for this role will be set based on a variety of factors, including but not limited to skill, knowledge, experience, education, and credentials.

Establishes the university’s DEI function to align with our transformational growth, resources and capabilities.
Serves as a key strategic advisor to the President and senior leadership on all matters related to diversity, equity, and inclusion.
Leads the development and implementation of the university's diversity and inclusion vision, mission, strategy, initiatives and programs, providing impactful practices for DEI embracement and integration into the university’s values, culture, and processes.
Develops a strategic DEI framework in collaboration with university leadership, faculty, staff and students to align and execute a shared approach across campuses while supporting unique localized needs to optimize resources and prevent incidents of bias or other unfair treatment within our community.
Integrates DEI work and processes to support the university’s flexible workplace policy while monitoring and adapting to the evolution of work post pandemic so that all feel welcomed and a have sense of belonging.
Designs, develops, implements and coordinates diversity, equity, and inclusion education/training programs and provide opportunities for open and insightful structured conversations to address concerns, complaints and issues that inhibit cultural harmony, equity and belonging.
Develops and manages DEI budget along with communication strategies, plans and processes to align initiatives and optimize resources, while driving progress toward intended strategic outcomes.
Provides leadership and support to manage incidents of discrimination, bias and/or micro aggressions involving faculty, staff, and students while providing useful guidance and compliance with policies, regulations and laws.
Develops DEI relevant metrics, tools and analytics that enable leadership to evaluate the performance of efforts in talent and student recruitment and retention, DEI integration, workforce inclusion, equity and climate.
Collaborates with students, staff and faculty in the development and assessment of processes and curriculum related to diversity, equity and inclusion.
Leads internal and external communications related to organizational DEI matters.
Stays current with regulatory and policy developments related to employee DEI matters and stays abreast of best practices and trends in the field to update organizational DEI efforts.
